Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has become highly prevalent. In the US alone, parental numbers suggest that 1 in 45 children have autism, whereas officials estimate the number to be around 1 in 68. It’s hard to have an accurate estimate but is well accepted that it’ll be higher. It is one of the most rapidly growing medical diagnoses. Autistic children are becoming common in the classroom and are a source of stigma and secrecy among certain cultures and communities, particularly in Asia.
