Psoriatic arthritis, commonly abbreviated as PsA, is a type of arthritis with inflamed joints. It usually shows up in people with psoriasis, a skin condition causing red, itchy patches. This joint inflammation can happen all over the body. It targets large and small joints and can cause pain, stiffness, and swelling. Other symptoms include swollen fingers and toes, foot pain, and nail changes.
